Kobe

For our first adventure into Kobe we hopped off the train at Sannomiya and wandered around.

We walked through a main shopping street to Kobe's Chinatown in Motomachi. It's a really vibrant place full of hustle and bustle with street vendors selling food. The central square has statues depicting all the different Chinese year animals!

I'm a monkey and Jonny's a ram.

A really cool place but we didn't check out the Chinese food... Next time!
We then made our way down to Kobe Harbour, which was a bit of an anticlimax. It was lovely to be by the water but there wasn't much else to do. There was this cool statue of a fish though.

After more of a meander (and our first time eating at Mos Burger!) we walked back up through Chinatown to the Ikuta Shrine.
