The weather was not so good, but before heading to Nagasaki we spent a few hours walking around Kumamoto and seeing the famous castle.

We saw the rooms wear special visitors would stay/have meetings. Check out the incredible gold on the sliding doors.
Afterwards, we visited an ancient samurai house.
Sorry, I can't be bothered to write much... It's taken so long for me to upload the pics from our holiday and it is kinda troublesome!!
Thanks for posting Tash - i'm so happy to be able to look at all the pictures. I want to come back to Japan double quick and just see all the stuff you've seen. I'm really missing Japan as well as you both right now... x
